MyCarGossip, How The Website Works

June 13th, 2013 in

MyCarGossip is a nationwide online motoring service directory enabling women to rate, review and recommend all types of motoring services as to how female friendly they are.

Many of my friends and other women that I spoke to voiced their concerns about their lack of knowledge about cars and their anxiety when it came to sorting out car related problems. After doing some research I found very few websites that actually offer car advice specifically for the female market. Nowhere gave women an opportunity to search for specific motoring businesses that were recommended by other female drivers.  This inspired me to set up MyCarGossip which launched about 5 months ago.

Not only can women search for recommended motoring services such as garages, driving instructors and insurance companies, but it also includes a blog that gives regular advice about cars and the motoring industry.

Membership to the website is completely free; the only costs involved are for motoring services who want to advertise on the site. It costs just £50 for the first year of advertising; they can have a full profile listing all of their contact details. It is great value for money when compared to other online directories and it is for a specific market.

We want to give women confidence and a more powerful voice in the motoring world so that they can sort out their car problems on their own.
