I love the new VW Beetle Convertible that was given its debut in the 2012 Los Angeles Auto Show.
The VW Beetle is my favourite car and I came across a really interesting article yesterday written for the Mail Online about how British soldiers helped save iconic VW car by rescuing blueprints from bomb-hit German factory in 1945.
The blueprints are believed to be copies as the originals were destroyed by Allied bombing during the war, they are now being sold at an auction in Surrey with a guide price of £3,000 to £4,000 pounds. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2240486/How-British-soldiers-helped-save-VW-car-rescuing-blueprints-bomb-hit-German-factory-1945.html?ito=feeds-newsxml
I'm looking forward to seeing the new 2013 Volkswagen Beetle driving around the UK in spring 2013
